REACTIVE DYEING SASHIKO VEST
This vest is made from reactively dyed sashiko fabric. The pockets are piped with leather.
Reactive dyes are dyes that do not fade or transfer compared to indigo dyes. There is less worry about color transfer and the range of coordination expands. Available in 2 colors: BLACK and NAVY.
Can be set up with trousers made of the same fabric.

[What is Sashiko?]
A thick fabric with an uneven, three-dimensional feel made by alternately woven cotton threads. It is said to be a traditional Japanese technique that has been around for over 500 years, and is used as fabric for Kendo and Judo uniforms. It is attractive because it is firm yet lightweight and has a strength comparable to denim. The fabric is used for sports, so it is certified for ease of movement. It is also said to be used as a short jacket for firefighters, as it does not leave holes even if sparks fly into it.

反応染めした刺し子生地を使用したベストです。ポケットをレザーでパイピングしています。
反応染めの染料はインディゴ染料に比べ色落ち、色移りがない染料。色移りの心配が少なくコーディネートの幅が広がります。BLACK、NAVYの2色展開。
同生地のトラウザーとセットアップが可能です。

[ 刺子（さしこ）とは ]
綿糸を交互に織った凹凸とした立体感のある厚手の生地。500年以上も前からある日本伝統の技術と言われており、剣道や柔道の道着の生地として使用されています。しっかりとハリがありつつ軽く、デニムに匹敵する強度があるのが魅力。スポーツに使われる生地のため動きやすさもお墨付きです。また、火の粉が飛んできても穴が空かないことから、消防（火消し）半纏用としても使われていると言われています。
