The NYLON SASHIKO MA-1 was born from a project that said, ``Sashiko flight jackets already exist, but wouldn't it be a revolutionary item if we changed the material from cotton to nylon?''

Weaving sashiko fabric with nylon is not easy, and there are various problems such as ``I have never woven anything other than cotton in the first place / I can't weave nylon thread because it slips / Even if I could weave it, it slips during sewing so much that it doesn't make a product.'' Although there were obstacles, we succeeded in commercializing the product with the cooperation of skilled weaving and sewing craftsmen.
Nylon sashiko fabric is stronger, lighter, and has better tear strength than cotton fabric.

The design is a basic MA-1 type with ribs on the collar, sleeves, and hem.
The placket has an authentic double slider zip that is covered with a hidden flap with snap buttons.
The lining is equipped with Kikuana ventilation to allow heat and humidity to escape.

「刺し子のフライトジャケットは既に存在するが、その素材を綿からナイロンに変えたら画期的なアイテムになるのではないか？」という企画から生まれたNYLON SASHIKO MA-1です。

ナイロンで刺し子生地を織ることは容易ではなく、「そもそも綿以外は織ったことがない / ナイロン糸は滑ってしまうため織れない / 織れたとしても縫製時の滑脱がひどく製品にならない」など様々な障壁が立ち塞がりましたが、織り・縫いに関して熟練の職人たちの協力の元、製品化に成功。
ナイロン刺し子生地の特長として綿素材のものより剛健で軽量、引き裂き強度にも優れています。

デザインは襟・袖先・裾にリブを配したベーシックなMA-1型。
前立てはダブルスライダージップを隠しスナップボタン付きフラップで覆う本格的な仕様です。
裏地には菊穴ベンチレーションをつけて熱や湿度を適度に逃がせるようにしています。
