WEST POINT DENIM WORKPANTS
Trouser-shaped work pants made of 8.7oz waist point denim.
In order to reproduce the waist point structure in denim, we use No. 40 double thread for the warp and No. 30 double thread for the weft.
Since it is a double thread (two thin threads twisted together into a single thread), it has less unevenness than regular denim, and has a glossy and elegant texture.

Every detail has been carefully crafted, such as the back pocket with double beaded edges and piping on various parts of the back.
The silhouette is a clean straight type. You can enjoy a wide range of coordination as casual pants that are classy and not too rough.


[What is West Point]
A type of chino cloth, commonly known as a weapon. It is said that the name originated from the fact that it was used in the uniforms of the military academy that trained elites, which was located in the area named West Point in New York, USA.
It is woven from two threads (pair threads) twisted together, making it a high-quality fabric that is stronger, firmer and more lustrous than chino cloth, which is woven from one thread (single thread). Because it is woven with high density, it is resistant to friction and has a good texture. While chino cloth has a "left twill/single thread" structure, West Point has a "right twill/double thread" structure.

WEST POINT DENIM WORKPANTS
8.7ozのウエストポイントデニムを使用したトラウザー型のワークパンツ。
ウエストポイントの組織をデニムで再現するため経糸は40番双糸、緯糸に30番双糸を用いて製織しています。
双糸（2本の細い糸をねじり合わせて1本の糸にしたもの）ですので一般的なデニムよりもムラ感が抑えられ、光沢のある上品な生地表情が特長です。

両玉縁仕様のバックポケットや裏側の各所をパイピング処理するなど細かい部分まで作りこみました。
シルエットはすっきりとしたストレートタイプ。ラフすぎず品のあるカジュアルパンツとして幅広いコーディネートをお楽しみいただけます。


[ウエストポイントとは]
チノクロスの一種で、通称ウエポン。 アメリカ・ニューヨークのウエストポイントという地名にあったエリートを育成する士官学校の制服に使われていたことがその名前の由来になったと言われています。
2本の糸（双糸）をねじり合わせた糸で織られており、1本の糸（単糸）で織られたチノクロスよりも強度があり、ハリと光沢がある上質な生地です。高密度に織り上げているので摩擦に強く、肌触りが良いのも特長。チノクロスが「左綾・単糸」なのに対し、ウエストポイントは「右綾・双糸」という組織の構成になります。
